Hey there,
Last week we had an interesting schoolweek. Monday the students had to do makeup for a fotoshoot. It was like a project with different courses like media make-up, hairdressers and fashion designers. It went really well, make-up was really nice and we helped writing the names of the models down on a list. The photographer had to do something else so they had to made their own photos but it went really well.
Tuesday we had a lesson in Asian head massage. It was really interesting because we learned a lot of new massage steps. After the massage we had a science lesson. It was really nice because we allready had learned the things they were learning at our own school which made it easier for us to understand everthing the teacher was saying. We learned a lot but is was quite exhausting because of all the terms they were using. We really had to stay focused. After the science lesson we also saw a bridal make-up which was also really nice.
Wednesday we learned a whole different massage and we actually did the massage ourselves. The massage is called Faradic. It's with pads who lead electricity through your muscles (feels really weard). The massage is like 10 minutes but it's the same as going to the gym for 20 minutes. After the massage we learned how to do a smokey eye makeup which was really fun.
On thursday was the catwalk show, so we helped again with writing down the names of the models. The catwalk show was really nice, this time you saw every design in combination with the makeup and hair. It was really nice to see all the hard work of the students paying off.
The weekend was also nice, we met our classmates again and went to two different museums, Victoria & Albert Museum and Natural History Museum. I didn't think the Victoria & Albert museum was really interesting if I'm honest but there were some nice things to see. The Natural History Museum was really nice, you could see a lot of different animals like an elephant, giraffe and a lot more. I did actually like the Natural History Museum the most.
Saturday we went eating with all the classmates at a nice Italian restaurant, we 'payed dutch' which turned out to be a term for paying all seperate. After dinner we went clubbing in Soho. We had a really good time.
